I started skiing when I was three years old and have been hooked ever since. I remember mornings a few years later, when I read Ingemar Stenmarks "ski school" on the milk package and went out in our garden, side stepped up the ten meter high hill and skied down on my blue and yellow Edsbyn crosscountry skis with cable bindings. Twigs worked as gates and after two or three runs, it was time to run to the school bus and if I had time, I would squeeze in a few runs in the afternoon as well.

After five seasons working as a ski instructor in Åre, probably the best ski resort in Scandinavia, I started doing seasons in, and eventually moved to, Verbier, probably the best ski resort in the world. In Verbier I started teaching and guiding off piste and some of my best days over the last few years have been with guests.

Now, with a Swedish and Swiss ski instructor's certificate; more than hundred days of skiing per year for the last fifteen years, I can say that the joy I felt as a six year old on our garden hill is quite similar to how I feel these days when I ski powder on a beautiful day with great people.

"The best skier on the mountain is the one who has the most fun".
