Marketing and public relations

What's your story?

Grew up in a small town called Halmstad, a city by the ocean in south of Sweden. It's a fantastic place in summer, but a grey place in wintertime. So when I was finished with high school I packed my bags and went to Austria for a season. Ended up staying for a few years, since I always loved the mountains and the culture around it. Went snowboarding, worked in a board shop and spent summertime working in a skate shop in Halmstad. It was a great time!

I moved back to Sweden. Through the years I studied graphic design and communication and the thought of marketing appealed to me, so I started my present education in creative marketing. That's where I first met the soul and mind behind Girlie Camps, Marika. I first started as an intern and I believe Girlie Camps for me is a never-ending story...

What does your sport mean to you?

My mum took me skiing for the first time when I was 4 years old. I grew up playing tennis and golf.  Later on I tried out boxing, I went skateboarding, went surfing and in Austria I learned how to love biking. I'm a competitive person and I like to try new things. Sport will always be a part of me. I love it!

What's your best memory from your sport?

I have a lot of good ones! Playing golf competitions, going free riding with good friends in fresh powder, my first wave on a surfboard together with a good friend and last year in Fuerteventura with the girlies was amazing!

What do you think about GirlieCamps?

Girlie Camps rock!

What do you wanna say to all the Girlies out there?

Go for it! Think big! Go wild!
